Maggie Cahoon's artistic career began 45 years ago as a handweaver. She has since evolved her artistic skills creating fiber collage wall pieces, painting, 3-dimensional figure sculpting, and currently encaustic painting. Love of color, natural forms, and harmonious design has informed her life-long journey of creating abstract and narrative imagery. Attention to detail, an adept use of color, and a sophisticated sense of design, has guided her throughout her career. Her work is in private collections across the country, in Europe and South Africa.
