Description
Help reduce single use plastic bags by sewing and decorating your own reusable cloth bag(s). Materials are provided, or you're welcome to bring special fabric pieces or notions that you've been holding onto, like an old concert t-shirt, to repurpose into your own unique tote bag.
Date and Time TBD
There is no charge to caregivers for these workshops.
Registration is necessary, as space is limited. In the interest of giving everyone a chance, you can register for 1 or 2 and be on the waiting list for any others, with a good chance of attending.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Kahn-Mason Foundation, RGS is able to offer a new series of monthly artmaking workshops to area caregivers, those who spend so much of their time and energy caring for others. For some of you, it is an ill family member, or an aging parent or spouse, or a child with special needs; for some it is your livelihood.
Whatever the situation, lots of energy and love and care goes into it, and we are hoping to supply just a small break and renewal with these art workshops.
