Bold Still Life Painting in Acrylics with Erin McIntosh
Erin McIntosh is an artist and educator in Gainesville, GA. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of North Georgia.

This class is great for beginners new to painting, or new to acrylics, or for artists with more experience wishing to explore a bold approach to the genre.
Paint objects more accurately by seeing them abstractly! Explore still life painting while learning and gaining more control over acrylic painting techniques in this four-part class. We will cover setting up an enticing still life, approaches to composition, value, and color, while learning to paint the illusion of light and shadow. Explore combining techniques including wet into wet, glazing, and scumbling to create your paintings. This class will include live painting demonstrations and breaking the process down into a series of easy to follow steps. Each person enrolled will have opportunities for getting individualized feedback on their paintings. This class is great for beginners new to painting, or new to acrylics, or for artists with more experience wising to explore a bold approach to the genre.
