Apples have been depicted in art in a myriad of ways. In representational still life, surrealism, symbolism, Impressionism, Expressionism, modern, and abstract art, the apple has played a significant role, even taking on an iconic image. Coming from the countryside, Cezanne proclaimed that he would "take Paris with an apple." And he did! Come join us and take Brattleboro with an apple, painting in the style of your choice. Various approaches will be presented and demonstrated. Critique, at-easel assistance, and lots of painting time will make this an educational and enjoyable painting experience, enjoyable to the core! All levels are welcome from beginner through advanced.

Saturday, September 9,  9:30am - 4:30pm
