Child Studio is an individualized approach to painting, drawing, and sculpture in an environment where we nurture each child’s free imagination, while supplying technical support where needed. Each class offers opportunities to experiment with traditional and non-traditional forms of working, to open students' perception of art. For ages 6-12.

We will adhere to a 6 child limit in class, with social distancing and masks at all times. A hybrid option is available where a child can participate live in the class from home.

Tuition Assistance / Installment Payments

River Galley School will work with individuals on installment plans, individual scholarship, and work-trade options. RGS Board and Staff work to ensure that anyone who wishes may attend classes can, regardless of financial situation. Please contact the office for more information.

Family / Multi-Course Discount

When paying for two full courses (not including workshops) in the same semester, a 20% discount will be applied to the lower priced course. This offer also applies for two students from the same household. This cannot be combined with any other discount or scholarship.

Policy on making up missed classes

if RGS cancels a class, for weather or any other reason, we will provide an extra make-up class.

If you miss a class, you are welcome to make it up in another class that same semester, as long as there is room (check with the teacher or the office). You can make up classes in other semesters only if you are fully enrolled in a class that semester. You cannot make up classes in workshops, as they run on a separate system.

We try to be as fair and flexible as possible, so if you have a question or problem, contact the office. We aim to please!
