Teen Studio with Ross Smart

This class is ideal for committed students who want to further their artistic journey. It will combine open studio and portfolio guidance. Open studio allows students to work on

paintings, drawings and other art related projects developed individually with their teacher. Portfolio offers a more structured environment with the opportunity to develop skills necessary to develop a portfolio. Options include drawing, painting, sculpture, figure drawing, printmaking, Sequencing, composition, and color mixing. For ages 12-18.

A hybrid option is available where a child can participate live in the class from home.

Wednesday 3:30 - 5 pm

No class week of February 22nd due to school vacation.

Tuition Assistance / Installment Payments

River Galley School will work with individuals on installment plans, individual scholarship, and work-trade options. RGS Board and Staff work to ensure that anyone who wishes may attend classes can, regardless of financial situation. Please contact the office for more information.

Family / Multi-Course Discount

When paying for two full courses (not including workshops) in the same semester, a 20% discount will be applied to the lower priced course. This offer also applies for two students from the same household. This cannot be combined with any other discount or scholarship.

Policy on making up missed classes

if RGS cancels a class, for weather or any other reason, we will provide an extra make-up class.

If you miss a class, you are welcome to make it up in another class that same semester, as long as there is room (check with the teacher or the office). You can make up classes in other semesters only if you are fully enrolled in a class that semester. You cannot make up classes in workshops, as they run on a separate system.

We try to be as fair and flexible as possible, so if you have a question or problem, contact the office. We aim to please!
