For more than 47 years, River Gallery School has been offering workshops, classes and experiences for everyone who wants to explore their creativity. We have programs for all ages, including summer art camps and school vacation programs for children. Our teaching artists work in a variety of visual media, including all types of painting, drawing, printmaking and encaustics.

RGS is dedicated to an inclusive art making community, with a variety of experiences designed for equity, access and inclusion. Our programs are offered in our studios, online and in other venues.  We believe that each person has artistic and creative capacities which, when nurtured, will find unique and valuable expression. Making art builds community and fosters essential life skills like self confidence, innovative thinking, and problem solving. And making art is fun!
