Treasurer

Kate Harris has a wide array of job experience with both for profit and non-profit businesses. She has been the Leasing Agent and Business Prosperity Specialist at Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC) since 2021. Before joining BDCC, she worked for a start-up in Boston that developed a camera to detect methane leaks. Prior to that, she was responsible for graduate and undergraduate assessment at the School of International Training. Before moving back to Vermont in 2012, Kate lived in Dallas and Houston, Texas where she raised two daughters and worked in the wind energy, petroleum exploration, and residential construction industries. Kate has an undergraduate degree in geology from Middlebury College and an MBA.
