Title: PAINTING EGYPT: CAIRO TO ASWAN

The people and sights encountered while wandering in Egypt: Cairo, Luxor, and up the Nile to Aswan.

Artist Statement:

Cindy Glover grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut, spending long childhood summers and many winter weekends in her family’s tiny cabin on Ames Hill in Marlboro, Vermont.

She earned a BFA in Furniture Design from Rhode Island School of Design, and several years after graduation, took up oil painting.

Cindy lived and worked overseas for eight years before permanently relocating to Vermont. She is a regular participant in Adult Studio Classes at RGS, and she enjoyed a residency at Vermont Studio Center in August 2020. This is her third show at Gallery 34.
