Two Sides of the Mediterranean

Cindy Glover grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut, with long childhood summers and many winter weekends spent in her family’s tiny cabin on Ames Hill in Marlboro, Vermont.

Cindy earned a BFA in Furniture Design from Rhode Island School of Design, and several years after her graduation, took up oil painting.

In 2013, after eight years of living and working overseas, Cindy permanently relocated to Vermont. She is a regular participant in the Adult Studio classes at RGS, and completed her first residency at the Vermont Studio Center in 2020.

Her position with an international architectural firm took her to live and work in cities in Europe and Asia, and that experience deepened her interest in other places and cultures around the world.

Cindy’s show, “Two Sides of the Mediterranean”, highlights visits to North Africa, and time living in and exploring southern France (2008-2010).
