November 2024: Cathy Osman
“Inside, Out”
Opening: November 1, 2024
5 pm – 9 pm
The foundation of her work grows from a deep connection to my surroundings. As a painter and printmaking living in Southern Vermont she is attentive to the landscape’s inherent character. The work itself is a synthesis of observations, the particularity of materials, and a need to re-invent what she sees through process of work. In all her work she strives to reconsider the appearance of things.
The images for this exhibit could be read as microscopic or reflect the teaming cacophony which surrounds us. All images attached are 30″ x 48″ mounted, collograph/monotype on BFK.
