River Gallery School offers this ongoing art program for seniors at no cost to participants. This class is for seniors interested in pursuing the pleasure of art making, whether for the first time or resuming an interest from an earlier time in life. Drop-ins are welcome on a space available basis.
Join us to build community and explore creativity through the process of drawing and painting. Each week we will have a different activity to get us started, such as “Poets and Portraits”, in which we explore painting/drawing a poet’s face while simultaneously hearing them read their poetry. This weekly gathering allows us to share studio space together and develop our understanding of art-making. This class is offered to you without a registration fee thanks to the generous support of the Windham Foundation.
